Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa officially reopened its doors last week, welcoming guests back to the famed Atlantic City casino after a temporary closure due to COVID-19. Working closely with state government officials to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, the hotel, three acres of gaming entertainment, outdoor pools and select retail are open, operating at reduced capacity providing guests a safe and responsible experience. The reopening has been overseen by Borgata's newest President and COO, Melonie Johnson, the the first Black woman to run an Atlantic City casino and one of only a handful of Black women who are leading casinos in the country.Borgata has also introduced two exciting new outdoor dining concepts - Sunbar at The Water Club for poolside al fresco dining and Borgata Street Eats Food & Beer Trucks for a selection of savory and sweet tacos from Borgata's award-winning culinary team. Guests can also take advantage of the brand new BorgataEATS, featuring restaurant take-out and in-room delivery from select onsite eateries. Safety precautions include custom built hand washing stations and hand sanitizers, temperature screenings for all guests and employees, and polycarbonate barriers around table games.
