Akash Timilsina has been appointed as General Manager at AC Hotel Wichita Downtown
Wichita's newest lifestyle hotel, AC Hotel by Marriott Wichita Downtown, is pleased to announce the appointment of Akash Timilsina as its new General Manager. A dynamic hospitality leader, Timilsina is recognized for his ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve operational excellence with a strong focus on service.
Prior to joining AC Hotel by Marriott Wichita Downtown, Timilsina served as General Manager at the Hampton Inn Wichita Airport. He has also held leadership positions with Four Points by Sheraton in Houston and Marriott International in Burlington, VT, as well as a dual property leadership role with Marriott International and Best Western in Kansas City. Throughout his career, he has consistently boosted guest satisfaction scores, improved revenue performance, and implemented training programs that reduced turnover and built cohesive teams.
Timilsina also brings international management experience from his tenure in Sydney, Australia, where he oversaw multi-unit operations and developed outreach programs. His career includes years of consulting work focused on training general managers and optimizing performance across hospitality, retail, and quick-service brands.
AC Hotel by Marriott Wichita Downtown is owned by Spartan Downtown, LLC and managed by Greenwood Hospitality, a strategic partner of Hotel Equities.
As General Manager, Timilsina will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, from guest services and team development to community engagement.
