This report took on a new design and format in 2004 incorporating the previous London Trends and UK Trends. The report is compiled from data collected from almost 875 hotels across Britain, representing some 136,000 rooms. Of these hotels 203 are located in the capital and 672 spread across the rest of the country. The survey includes statistics of occupancy, average room rate and yield for all hotels and breaks down the data according to geographical region, hotel size and rate band, together with associated commentary with expert outside contributors.
