Decades after West Berlin attempted to woo tourists with the lackluster slogan “Berlin is worth a visit,” Germany’s capital has usurped Rome as the third most-visited city in Europe. Legions of hipsters and budget tourist groups now pour into the city, looking for cheap rooms and invading its streets and clubs. In many cities, that would make the hotel industry happy. Not here.
