Icelandic Travel Industry Association
The Icelandic Travel Industry Association - SAF is the mutual venue of Icelandic companies operating in the field of travel and tourism. Its purpose is to promote and protect the common interest of the membership and to work towards improved proficiency of both staff and management. The Association will work towards the growth and development of the tourism industry with a professional attitude where emphasis is on quality and environmental concern. Participation is open to all companies working in the travel and tourism industry and all members have valid permits for their operation where such permits are applicable.

Institute of Food Technologists
Founded in 1939, the Institute of Food Technologists is a nonprofit scientific society with 22,000 members working in food science, food technology, and related professions in industry, academia, and government. IFT publishes various resources for the food industry, including Food Technology and the Journal of Food Science. IFT also conducts the world's largest annual convention on food grown, processed, manufactured, distributed, and eaten worldwide: the IFT Annual Meeting & Food ExpoSM. As the authoritative voice of food science and technology, IFT contributes to public policy and opinion at national, state, and local levels. IFT's Office of Science, Communications, and Government Relations advocates the scientific perspective on food science and technology issues.

Interactive Travel Services Association (ITSA)
The mission of the Interactive Travel Services Association is to promote consumer choice, access, confidence, protection and information in the rapidly growing world of online travel. ITSA seeks to develop consensus among industry, consumer organizations and policy makers on issues related to consumer use of the Internet to meet their travel needs. The organization's members commit their combined resources to conduct research and analysis, public education and media outreach, and participate in policy discussions at all levels.

International Air Transport Association (IATA)
IATA is the collective voice of world civil aviation. Its 270+ Members carry more than 95 percent of world international scheduled traffic. IATA tailors products and services to the needs of both its Members and the travel trade. It handles revenues in excess of USD 130 billion a year - mainly through efficient systems for collection and transfer of airline revenue. Programmes such as "Registered Partners" aim at greater use of standard, automated information throughout the entire travel industry. IATA represents the industry to governments and international organisations and provides the forum within which the standards which underpin aviation are developed.

International Association of Conference Centers (IACC)
The International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) is a not-for-profit, facilities-based organization whose mission is to assist members in providing the most productive meeting facilities around the world. These facilities represent the highest-quality venues available to meeting professionals on a global basis. IACC is also organized to provide and promote market awareness of conference centers as offering separate, distinct and special places and services; to collect and distribute information on the industry and its trends; to provide an exchange of experiences among its members; to address common problems, needs and opportunities; to provide programs and services that assist members in operating more effectively; and to respond to the needs and interests of conference center users as determined by the Board of Directors. IACC’s Active members are conference centers that comply with the 30 stringent standards of the Universal Criteria.

International Association of Professional Congress Organizers (IAPCO)
The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO), a non-profit organisation founded in 1968, represents professional organisers and managers of international and national congresses, conventions and special events. IAPCO is committed to raising standards of service among its members and other sectors of the meetings industry by means of continuing education and interaction with other professionals. IAPCO has members worldwide whose activities are monitored on an annual basis. As a result, IAPCO membership offers a unique quality assurance recognised by conference clients and suppliers all over the world.

International Association of Reservation Executives (IARE)
The International Association of Reservation Executives includes representatives from call centers throughout the travel industry -- including airlines, car rentals, cruise lines, riverboats, individual hotels and city convention and visitor bureaus. The group known as the IARE has grown to include more than 100 member companies whose reservation activities span across the entire spectrum of the travel industry and whose reservation employees number in the many thousands. Within its membership lies a vast knowledge and experience with the travel reservations industry. IARE's ability to tap and share that knowledge and experiences accounts for a large measure of its value to its members.
