Conceived by a group of young hoteliers, to provide themselves with a complete information resource centre and networking tool for their own self development. They soon realised that they wanted to be able to meet other ambitious new hoteliers from around the world to share information, resources and contacts with one another - and set themselves apart from the annually growing numbers of young hoteliers and graduates through access to international networks, and wider knowledge. Clearly, there was also a need for a forum where academic research could meet industry experience; and where old world charm and philosophy could converge with new world business and information.
