Starwood's recently introduced brand of upsacale hotels: With the W-Concept, Starwood revamped the business traveler's entire hotel experience. The result? W. Unique in design and unparalleled in service. 16 hotels are targetted to open within 12 months from now. Some of them will be newly build, some of them will be converted, existing hotels. W Hotels will be situated in some of the most exhilarating neighborhoods of major cities across the country, close to business districts, convention centers, shopping, dining, and nightlife. Sixteen W properties will open through 2001. Besides those listed, they include, Sydney, Honolulu, New Orleans, Boston and Denver.
