Optims launches WebRes, The Real Time, On-Line Hotel Boooking System
Optims S.A. (Evry, France), European leader in Information technology solutions dedicated to the optimisation of revenue and management methods in Hospitality, Tourism and Transport, announces the launch of WebRes, a real-time, on-line hotel booking engine. WebRes enables hotels and hotel chains to provide their customers, via a touch of a button, with a user friendly and simple way to book rooms in real time, via the Internet.
WebRes allows hoteliers to update their rates, rate calendar and their own room availability directly on their web sites through an electronic Web Planning tool. Via a web browser, they can also open and close real time reservation program whenever they want. WebRes technology is based on standard Microsoft' ASP architecture.

WebRes is part of Optims Central Reservation Solution, that offers two other independent modules : Optims Switch (distribution of hotel rooms over the Internet through a network of partners) and Optims.CRS (a complete electronic Central Reservation for call centres).
