Optims Provides Its Central Reservation System To The Tourism Office Of Lyon

Optims S.A. (Evry, France), the European leader in information technology solutions dedicated to the optimisation of revenue and management methods in Hospitality, Tourism and Transport industries, announces the implementation of its Central Reservation System (Optims.CRS) within the Tourism Office of Lyon, France's second largest town after Paris. The Tourism Office of Lyon thus obtains a powerful system, which will largely simplify and optimise the reservation process for both the hotels and the tourists. As one of France's largest cities, Lyon attracts the tourism and the business market in equal quantities.

More than 300,000 business and leisure visitors visited Lyon's Tourism Office in 2001, either to request information or to actually book hotel rooms.

"This system will allow us to better adapt supply to demand, adds Bruce Redor, General Manager of the Tourism Office. Every hotel in the city will be able to modify its availabilities and rates ; this system offers flexibility and efficiency".

Optims.CRS is composed of three modules:

  • Optims.Call Center, a complete electronic Central Reservation System for call centres.
