Optims Annonces The Opening Of Its Office In The United Kingdom
Optims S.A. (Evry, France), the European leader in Revenue Management Systems (RMS) and IT enabling solutions dedicated to the hospitality, tourism and transport industries announces the opening of Optims UK Ltd.
The new Optims UK Ltd. office is located in Chertsey, with close and easy access to central London. Steve Madden has been appointed as Managing Director, former Sales Director with Quadranet plc, Micros Fidelio UK and Innsite Hotel Services. "Steve's profile was exactly what we were looking for", explains Bruno des Fontaines, VP Sales and Marketing Optims RMS. "He already has a deep understanding of the industry in the UK and will help us quickly gain further market penetration".
Initially Optims UK Ltd will focus on the distribution of Optims Revenue Management Solutions (RMS) only, with reservation (PMS) and central reservation systems (CRS) being added at a later date.
"With this opening, Optims continues its growth and development within European countries with powerful tourism and hospitality economies", explains Antoine Medawar, CEO of Optims. "This opening is a particularly strategic move for us as Optims has a number of exciting prospects in the UK and many existing clients. Optims already has more than 50 existing clients equipped with Revenue Management Systems in the UK, including prestigious chains such as Le Meridien, Thistle and Accor Hotels. In opening this office, Optims intends to reinforce its position as leading supplier of Revenue Management Systems.
Also note that Optims has already expanded its European division in 2001 by opening offices in Spain and Italy, which have both seen great success.
