Infinium Announces General Availability of Training Administration for Managers and Employees 10.0

New Human Resources Self-Service Application Streamlines Employee Training Administration

HYANNIS, Mass., Infinium Software INFM, a provider of Web-integrated enterprise business applications, today announced the general availability of its new Training Administration for Managers and Employees 10.0 application, the latest addition to its human capital management suite.

Infinium Training Administration for Managers and Employees (TRME) enhances productivity by providing employees and managers with direct access to training information, which traditionally had been held by the training or human resources departments. This is the first in a series of role-based applications being developed using Infinium's new evolutionary architecture.

Employees use a standard web browser to understand their required training, view upcoming courses, easily request enrollment in a specific course, and analyze historic training information. Additionally, managers have similar flexibility for all of their employees. Managers can display, navigate, and enroll their direct reports in the same manner, and can also approve or deny any requests made by their employees, keeping track of where the requests are in the enrollment process.

Training Administration for Managers and Employees completely interoperates with the existing, feature-rich, Infinium Training Administration. For example, real-time interoperability allows changes made by the training department to be immediately accessible by employees and managers alike. Additionally, current Training Administration customers can implement Training Administration for Managers and Employees with an extremely quick and straightforward process.

"The design of Training Administration for Managers and Employees is in direct response to the demands of the market," said Fiona Nolan, Senior Product Manager, HCM, Infinium. "This new application helps our customers maximize productivity and improve employee satisfaction by putting training information and planning directly in the hands of managers and employees."
