22 January 2003

New York, NY - Hotelevision and A&E Network have signed a distribution agreement that has given A&E access to Hotelevision's collection of upscale and luxury hotel rooms. A&E was added to Hotelevision's "free-to-guest" programming lineup on December 30, 2002. The agreement enables carriage of A&E through all of Hotelevision's hotel rooms across the United States. Currently, Hotelevision has over 165,000 hotel rooms under contract in over 480 hotels.

Nominated for more Emmy Awards in the past two years than any other basic cable network, A&E offers viewers a diverse blend of critically acclaimed original programming. On January 13th, A&E Network premiered the two-hour original movie BENEDICT ARNOLD: A QUESTION OF HONOR, starring Aidan Quinn and Kelsey Grammer.

"Adding A&E to the Hotelevision line-up was a natural fit," commented Morgan J. Lambert, Senior Vice President of Distribution and Content. "They are an established network that offers quality programming for the upscale consumers who are in hotel rooms."
