New Video From AH&LA's Educational Institute (EI) Puts The 'Spotlight On Security

To help hotel managers improve security awareness among their employees, the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association has developed a new training video and companion guide, "Spotlight On Security for Lodging."

Developed in conjunction with the American Hotel & Lodging Association Loss Prevention Committee, this video introduces viewers to the best security practices currently being implemented by top hospitality security executives and loss prevention experts. Topics covered in the video and companion guide include:

  • Why security is so important to the bottom line
  • How employees can improve their security awareness skills
  • What an emergency action plan should include
  • How to balance increased security with guest satisfaction
