Cendant's Trust International Launches Enhanced Voyager CRS 3.0 Technology For Hotels

Web-based Reservation System to Add More Than 50 Customized Self-Service Feature Enhancements For Hotels

PARSIPPANY, NJ, As part of a continued effort and commitment to provide comprehensive service to clients for their reservations needs, Cendant Travel Distribution Services, a division of Cendant Corporation CD and a global provider of reservation and distribution solutions for the hospitality and leisure industry, today announced the launch of its enhanced Voyager CRS (Central Reservation System) 3.

As one of the most advanced Web-based reservation systems available on the market, Voyager CRS 3.0 offers enhancements that provide clients with additional strategic advantages over competitor CRS systems through higher performance and state-of-the-art data processing. The improvements include an enhanced capacity to provide next generation seamless functionality from Voyager to all GDS systems including Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus and Worldspan, giving travel agents real time availability and rate information for participating hotels. Additional features include a multi-lingual Internet booking engine, an improved front end for a content management database for faster data processing, better performance and enhanced navigation of specific property information to multiple booking channels, and more accurate reporting and data warehousing.

In order to accommodate the rapidly growing volume of transactions coming from it's various connections to third party Web sites, Voyager 3.0 now has significantly expanded capacity to accommodate current and future transactions. This upgrade will allow faster, more efficient and accurate communication.

In addition to enhancing its Voyager CRS suite of products, the new enhancements are available to hotel groups who manage their own CRS systems through the Voyager 3.0 Software. Both the outsourced Voyager CRS suite of products and Voyager CRS Software applications allow hotel groups to manage and distribute hotel data more effectively by using a single, integrated system.

"Voyager's new enhancements have been designed with our clients needs in mind - providing greater flexibility and real-time control over their inventory. It is one of the most compelling state-of-the-art CRS systems in the hotel industry. And for our clients who maintain their own CRS, enhancements were created and are offered through our outsourcing software to complement and improve their own systems for maximized efficiency, " said Michael W. McCormick, Senior Vice President, Cendant Travel Distribution Services.
