Optims e-business subsidiary connect its central reservation (CRS) with Expedia distribution network

Otedis (Optims Technology for Distribution) the e business subsidiary of Optims Group, the European leader in information technology solutions for the hospitality and tourism industries announced that it has signed an agreement with Expedia to connect its central reservation system (CRS) to Expedia online distribution network via its OTA platform.

Otedis is among the European leaders in hotel distribution in France, with over 4,000 members, including 2,000 hotels using its real time online reservation technology. Hotel chains such as Châteaux and Hôtels de France, Barceló Hotels and Resorts and Envergure Group, have already selected Otedis'electronic reservation and distribution solutions.

Expedia and Otedis have developed and implemented several XML interfaces, in accordance with OTA (Open Travel Agency) specifications, to ensure a direct connection between Otedis central reservation system and the Expedia distribution network.

Group and hotel chains using Otedis Call center tool will benefit from a large online distribution through an international network which is very well known on the market (Expedia.com and Hotels.com).
