Thailand & Singapore -- Hilton International today announced the appointment of John Neutze as Director of Business Development for Hilton’s National Sales Office – Thailand.

Based in Bangkok, Neutze will be responsible for driving and growing inbound leisure and MICE business to the Hilton Family of hotels in Thailand. These include Millennium Hilton Bangkok, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa and Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.

Prior to assuming his position at the Hilton National Sales Office Thailand, Neutze was Director of Sales at Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa. A position he has held since 2003, Neutze was directly responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with wholesalers from Europe, UK, Japan, Middle East, Australia and South Africa for the resort.

Most recently, Neutze has been involved in re-launching the newly upgraded resort and has achieved consistent occupancy rates of over 80% every month since the resorts’ reopening in July 2005. Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa underwent a US$40 million dollar renovation between April 2004 and June 2005.

Neutze brings to his latest role within the Hilton family, excellent sales and business development expertise honed from more than 20 years in the hospitality industry; the last 13 of which has been in senior executive positions with other international hospitality companies.
