ATLANTA-- -- Onity announced today that the CodePro™ revolutionary PIN code-based electronic locking system, has been selected to secure the commercial banking facilities for a development bank in the Mexican Republic. The installation of 200 CodePro locks was completed in December 2009 at the bank's branch offices across Mexico, and represents the product's debut in the Latin American market. The system is gaining commercial acceptance worldwide because it allows property managers and/or owners to instantly and remotely provide access to specific areas for specific periods of time, without the need for a key or keycard. The CodePro locking system combines Onity's proven, reliable PIN code access software and electronic locking technology with a unique two-piece modular design and keypad to grant access to designated users. The locking mechanism is operated with a 7-digit software-generated PIN code that can be changed by the user with his or her personalized code. Some features of the CodePro lock include a robust all-weather design, mechanical key override, and battery-operated.
