Travelscream Names Scott Wilkins COO

Travelscream (www.travelscream.com) has named financial services industry veteran Scott Wilkins as Chief Operating Officer.

According to Founder and Chief Technology Officer Rob O'Connor, Travelscream has enjoyed more than two years of tremendous growth while operating in a startup environment. The digital travel content distribution and social marketing company named a COO in order to take the next step in operational evolution. "We've reached a point where we would be better served by building a more traditional operating structure," said O'Connor. "Scott's expertise is right in line with our current strategic objectives as we embark on a new era of opportunity and prosperity."

Scott comes to Travelscream most recently from Cielo Partners, an Atlanta-based merchant bank. His investment banking career spans 14 years working as an equity analyst, as an asset management specialist, and in the private wealth sector on three continents -- Europe, Latin America and North America. Scott recently established The Cielo Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization created to bring aid to disadvantaged children.

Wilkins is primarily focused on enhancing Travelscream's profitability while minimizing operational, financial and strategic risk. He will manage day-to-day operations, directing the company along with a newly-formed Leadership Committee that includes O'Connor, VP Marketing Communications Kristen Kopplin, VP Business Development Jonathan Spitz, National Director of Sales Mike Flood and Travelscream APAC CEO Eric Demaret.
