The successful partnership of LRP Publications and the Cornell University Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) will continue, as the two organizations look ahead to producing the industry-leading HR in Hospitality Conference™, scheduled for April 4–6, 2011, at the Marriott Wardman Park, in Washington, D.C.
Kenneth Kahn, president of LRP Publications, will continue as a member of the CHR Advisory Board. "The 2010 HR in Hospitality Conference™ broke new ground, with industry leading plenary sessions and hot topics in our breakouts," said Kahn. "With Cornell's continued participation, we are planning an even stronger conference for 2011. We are particularly excited to schedule our fifth HR in Hospitality Conference™ in the nation's capital."
"We are delighted to have LRP Publications continue as a partner," added Professor Rohit Verma, executive director of the Center for Hospitality Research. "The first four HR in Hospitality Conferences™ have attracted hundreds of participants. This is one of the key conferences of the year, and it's a privilege to work with LRP Publications to plan the 2011 conference."
Verma added that representatives of several CHR partner organizations participated in the 2010 conference, including Debbie Brown, VP HR The Americas, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts; Gregg Gilman, partner and co-chair, labor and employment practices, Davis & Gilbert, LLP; Michael Lebowich, partner, Proskauer; Glen Lipkin, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP; Doug Patrick, SVP HR, Hyatt; Carolyn D.
