Petra Deuter is a tri-lingual cross-cultural, highly entrepreneurial sales & marketing consultant. Prior to establishing herself as a full time consultant, she had over 13 years of broad international corporate executive expertise in Europe, North and South America. Her corporate career includes successes with each of Accor Hospitality in Germany, Lufthansa Airlines in Europe and The Americas and Mamaison Hotels & Residences in Central and Eastern Europe. Thus she brings to her hotel clients a strong understanding of the international travel sector and trends. She is a passionate mentor to leaders of Sales & Marketing and has a strong track record of growing revenues through multiple channels in the travel and hotel industries. Her recent experience is in the field of corporate strategy development, international expansion and medical tourism. An experienced strategy advisor and project leader, Sjannie is responsible for multifaceted strategic development tasks, amongst others: business growth, leadership development and general management process organization. Previously, Sjannie worked in corporate marketing and sales at the Castellana Inter*Continental Hotel in Madrid and Penta Hotels International in Frankfurt. Deirdre set up her own design studio in Singapore in 2001 and has since completed various hospitality, restaurant and residential projects. Working closely with her team, she is responsible for management and creative leadership in interior and environmental design. Deirdre’s creative experience in a variety of interior design disciplines, countries and cultures has enabled a philosophy of design integrity and cultural sensitivity. Her approach is multidisciplinary and covers all aspects of a project, from architecture and interior design to furniture, product, and graphic design, to ensure every touch point is considered and execution is completed to the tee. Deirdre’s career began following her interior design studies at the University of Johannesburg in 1988.
