Destination Hotels & Resorts Makes Changes in National Sales Offices

Destination Hotels & Resorts is making changes within its national sales offices. Amanda Wessel, who most recently headed sales for the Southwest region, will now take over the national sales office in Denver, while Kerry McMahon will be returning to Destination in the New York sales office.

Destination Hotels & Resorts is making changes within its national sales offices. Amanda Wessel, who most recently headed sales for the Southwest region, will now take over the national sales office in Denver, while Kerry McMahon will be returning to Destination in the New York sales office.

McMahon served as national sales manager at Destination’s Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center in New Jersey from 2005 to 2008 and most recently worked at Hotels and Resorts of Hulekulani and Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio in Honolulu. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, McMahon studied abroad in New South Wales and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Wessel has been the director of the national sales office for the Southwest since 2004. Prior to joining Destination Hotels & Resorts, Wessel was the director of leisure sales at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa in Dana Point, Calif. Wessel graduated from Central Michigan University and is a member of Meetings Professional International and the Society of Incentive Travel Executives.

McMahon and Wessel will both be managing key groups and meeting accounts in their respective markets.
