Meritus And Thistle To Leverage On Each Other's Markets

Thistle Hotels already have a similar agreement with First Hotels of Scandinavia, which has started encouragingly whilst Meritus is a founding member of the Asian Hotels Alliance (AHA) which includes some of Asia's finest hotel groups.

Thistle (www.thistlehotels.com) has 55 hotels in England, Scotland and Wales of which 24 are in London. Meritus has 11 deluxe and first class hotels with just over 5,300 rooms in Singapore, China, Malaysia and Thailand (www.meritushotels.com). One of the alliance's immediate priorities is to promote all the hotels through joint sales calls and tradeshow activities.
