New York, NY - W Hotels will kick off "Adventures in Wonderland," a series of 72 high profile events taking place at W Hotels in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago beginning in October 2004 and continuing through April 2005.
"Adventures in Wonderland" will provide a wide range of experiences for guests and members of the local community who have interests in all fields from music, film, beauty, fashion, food and literature. Academy Award® nominee and Golden Globe winner Lynn Redgrave and her daughter Annabel Clark kicked off the six month series with a discussion about their new book Journal: A Mother and Daughter's Recovery from Breast Cancer. Notable upcoming events include a book signing with fashion expert Carson Kressley for his upcoming book Off the Cuff, an Indie Film Panel Discussion with such highly acclaimed filmmakers such as Vincent Gallo, John Waters and John Cameron Mitchell, music sessions with renowned DJ Mark Rae, cooking demonstrations with culinary wizard Michael Lomonaco, and make-up "how to" lessons with celebrity makeup artist James Vincent among many more exciting events.
