Christine Natsios named Director of Alumni Affairs at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration

Christine Natsios has been appointed director of alumni affairs at the Cornell Hotel School in Ithaca, New York, effective June 1, 2005. Natsios will report to Walter Williams, director of alumni affairs and development at the School
A 1985 graduate of the Cornell Hotel School, Natsios will serve as the School's primary liaison to the 9,000-member Cornell Hotel Society and the Cornell Hotel Society Foundation. She will support the Dean's Office and the university through the development and implementation of alumni activities and programs throughout the world. Natsios will work closely with the Society's volunteer leadership and its 59 international alumni chapters in forwarding the mission of the School.
"Christine Natsios has an ideal blend of skills and experience for this position," said David Butler, School Dean. "She will play a lead role as we continue to strengthen the bonds between the School and our alumni base around the world."
Natsios has almost 30 years of experience in special events management, catering and sales, with organizations such as Sheraton, Intercontinental Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, and Ritz-Carlton. Most recently, she served as manager of special events for the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio. She was active in the Cornell Hotel Society, Washington DC chapter for almost 20 years, serving as the group's president from 1991-1992. She has also been an active member of the Cornell Alumni Association of Central Ohio.
In addition to her bachelor of science degree from the Cornell Hotel School, Natsios holds an associate of arts degree in hospitality management from Columbus State Community College. She is fluent in Modern Greek, Spanish and French.
