December 2005 represented a significant milestone in the development of FastBooking, with the recruitment of its 3,000th client in less than five years!
This young company has achieved substantial growth: whereas it had “only” 2,000 clients at the end of 2004, it is now able to announce that the number of users of the FastBooking Engine has risen by 50% in just 11 months.
Today, with 3,000 hotels using the FastBooking Engine on their website, FastBooking is positioned as one of the leaders in online hotel reservations.
It is the prestigious Hotel Negresco****L, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World® group, that has marked this important step forward by adopting the FastBooking online booking engine on its all-new website: www.hotel-negresco-nice.com. This palace on the French Riviera now offers its Internet customers the same quality of service as its traditional customers, with personalized offers accessible online, real-time availability and immediate reservation and confirmation in 24 languages. “Many of our guests come from Asia, Russia and the Middle East. It was essential for us to offer them an online reservation service in their own language. FastBooking met this requirement, enabling us to offer our Internet customers the same quality of service as our telephone customers,” explains Valérie Pisano, Reservations Manager at the Negresco.
More than half of FastBooking’s clients are European establishments, mainly in France, Italy and Great Britain, but Asian and American subsidiaries are also represented, with more than 200 and more than 100 hotels respectively among its client base.
FastBooking solutions are also used by other renowned hotels: the Hotel Bauer in Venice, also a member of the Leading Hotels of the World® group, the Relais et Châteaux Caesar Augustus in Capri (Italy), the Bristol in Geneva (Leading Small Hotels of the World®), the Hotel St-Paul in Montreal, the Montalembert in Paris and the Palace Hotel in Tokyo (Preferred).
FastBooking’s loyal client base also includes globally renowned companies such as Société des Bains de Mer, the Lucien Barrière group and the GLA and Sina Hotels groups.
It would have been impossible to work successfully for such establishments without the commitment of an exacting sales team familiar with the issues faced by hotel managers. The team is headed by Yauric Mercier, a Franco-American trained at the famous Glion Hotel School, whose confidence in the solutions provided by FastBooking goes back a long way: he was already using the FastBooking Engine when managing the prestigious Parisian hotels Montalembert and Bel Ami. “FastBooking has the technical skills that are essential in the market, combined with genuine expertise in the hotel sector. That is what enables us to meet the demands of prestigious hotels such as the Negresco in Nice and the Landmark in London,” he says, explaining the reasons for the company’s success.
The signing of this 3,000th client confirms that FastBooking is growing on all fronts: the company is also set to reach the figure of 900,000 nights of accommodation reserved through the FastBooking Engine in 2005, surpassing its 2004 results by more than 100%.
