Craig Cunningham Named VP Of Marketing For Accor North America’s Business And Leisure Department | Shelby Named As VP Diversity And Corporate People Department
 Carrollton, TX | Accor North America, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, is pleased to announce the hiring of Craig Cunningham as the Vice President of Marketing for the Accor Business and Leisure department. Craig will be overseeing both brand and field marketing of Sofitel, Novotel and Ibis in North America, including Canada and Mexico.
Cunningham is a graduate of University of Texas and holds a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University. He is joining Accor after seven years with Wyndham Hotels where he was Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing. Prior to that, Cunningham spent several years in advertising and public relations on the agency side. Cunningham is active in numerous organizations including Preservation Dallas and Dallas Architecture Forum.

Carrollton, Texas | Accor North America, one of the largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, continues to experience rapid growth and is pleased to announce the hiring of Glenda Shelby as the new Vice President, Diversity & Corporate People Department.
Shelby comes to Accor with 18 years of Human Resources and Diversity experience. She will be responsible for developing, administering and executing the workforce, workplace, and marketplace diversity management strategies for the corporate office as well as within each Accor Brand – Sofitel, Novotel, Ibis, Red Roof Inn, Studio 6, and Motel 6. Shelby is also responsible for the recruiting and human resource business partnerships for the corporate office. In addition, she serves as the administrator and coordinator of Accor’s corporate mentoring program.
Shelby received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Northwood University, and is completing advanced studies in Human Relations at Amberton University. She also has a Diversity Certification from the International Institute for Diversity and Cross Cultural management from the University of Houston.
She is a current member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Dallas Human Resources Association, the National Association of African American in Human Resource, The Multicultural Food Service and Hospitality Alliance, the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and participates in Menttium, Inc. as a mentor.
