Desires Hotels™ Selected to Manage Sagamore Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla.

MIAMI | Desires Hotels™, the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality, announced today that it has signed a contract to manage the Sagamore Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla.

Built in 1948 by local architect Albert Anis, the Sagamore Hotel was recently renovated in 2001 and has a post modern Miami architecture style. With its upscale collection of 93 boutique accommodations, the hotel features one- and two-bedroom suites, 16 two-story oceanside garden bungalows and eight rooftop penthouses, including a three-bedroom suite with a private oceanfront sundeck. What is truly captivating, however, is the Sagamore’s public space, which features perfectly displayed art work from a roster of well-known contemporary artists. In addition, the hotel features Social, the latest restaurant/lounge concept from the critically acclaimed restaurant group China Grill Management.

“The Sagamore is one of those hotels that represent the chic elegance, exquisite style and architectural design of boutique hotels that attract visitors to South Beach, and is a prestigious addition to our portfolio of hotels” said Doug Carrillo, vice president of sales and marketing with Tecton Hospitality & Desires Hotels. The Sagamore Hotel is located at 1671 Collins Avenue. For more information, call (305) 535-8088 or visit www.sagamorehotel.com.
