MotorCity Casino Hotel Selects PAR Springer-Miller’s SMS|Host® Hospitality Management System
Focus on Guest Service is a Match

NEW HARTFORD, NY | PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. (PSMS) --- a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC) and the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems --- is pleased to announce that MotorCity Casino Hotel has chosen PAR’s SMS|Host Hospitality Management System for their newly expanded property in Detroit, Michigan

MotorCity Casino, first opened in 1999, is undergoing a $300 million expansion featuring a 17-story, 400 unit hotel, additional gaming space, a premium spa, convention and banquet space, theatre, retail and dining. The hotel is scheduled to open in November of 2007 with an emphasis on extraordinary guest service and high-tech, ‘future-retro’ style. Rooms, including 41 suites, are outfitted in luxurious style with modern amenities such as ipod docking stations and plasma TVs to appeal to business and tech-savvy guests

In addition to the SMS|Host Front Office System, MotorCity Casino Hotel will utilize SMS|Activities for booking outside guest services and activities, SMS|Comp Accounting for casino comp accounting. SMS|World will provide direct online reservations. Self-service check-in and check-out will be powered by SMS|Kiosk. PAR Springer-Miller’s SpaSoft Spa Management software will be installed for the Spa operations. Advanced XML-based interfaces to a variety of third party technology solutions will also be deployed utilizing the SMS|Diplomat connectivity engine. .
