TravelCom 2008 conference: Headline Speakers Include Executives From YouTube, Priceline,Travelocity, TripAdvisor and InterContinental Hotel Group

WASHINGTON, DC | A highly impressive group of leading industry speakers will provide valuable insight into the latest trends in ROI, technology learning and development at the Travel Industry Association’s (TIA) TravelCom 2008 conference, to be held April 8 – 10 in Chicago, IL.

Renowned speakers include Suzy Reider, Chief Marketing Officer of YouTube, Jeff Boyd, President and Chief Executive Officer of Priceline, Michelle Peluso, President and Chief Executive Officer of Travelocity, Eric Pearson, Senior Vice President of Distribution for Intercontinental Hotel Group and Christine Petersen, Vice President of Marketing for TripAdvisor.

All presentations will support TravelCom’s theme of Destination Unknown: Predicting Tomorrow’s Travel Environment, a timely topic in the travel industry’s rapidly evolving marketplace.

Henry Harteveldt, Vice President and Principal Analyst, Forrester Research will open the conference with a keynote presentation designed to help eCommerce, distribution, marketing and customer service executives lead their firms through an uncertain economy, a decline in the number of online travel buyers, and evolving distribution models.
