Travel Alberta’s Family Fun Magazine Now Available
New travel magazine helps families plan the perfect Alberta vacation

Edmonton, Alberta | The Family Fun issue of Travel Alberta’s new Stay magazine helps families plan the perfect summer road trip. The colourful 52 page magazine features real holiday stories, major attraction listings, a full provincial map and budget-saving travel packages.

In this issue, families share their real Alberta summer holiday adventures across the province. Stories include one family’s annual canoe trip down the Milk River, a puppy and his people’s luxurious stay in Banff and a mother and son’s journey to find wild horses in the North. To keep the fun going, each section also includes details on local attractions, like museums, provincial parks and historic sites. Plus there are plenty of day tripping ideas, information on family-friendly festivals and where to find the world’s largest pyrogy.

Readers are invited to submit their own Alberta family holiday stories to the What’s Your Story Contest . The best 500 to 750 word submission on the theme “Our Together Time in Alberta” will win $2,500 and be featured on www.travelAlberta.com. The contest closes Sept. 1.

A special pull-out section of the magazine offers exclusive money-saving coupons and easy-to-book holiday packages . The packages are also available online at TravelAlberta.com.

And to make family holiday planning even easier, the magazine launches TravelAlberta.com’s new Trip Planner . The online tool is a comprehensive resource of accommodations, transportation, activities, tour operators and events across the province. With a few clicks, visitors can collect items and arrange them into a printable, personalized itinerary or browse the categories to gather holiday ideas. There is no better way to organize your next vacation!

Consumers in Western Canada can look for the Family Fun Stay magazine in daily newspapers on May 12. It is also available through TravelAlberta.com , 1-800-ALBERTA or at Travel Alberta Visitor Information Centres .
