if you were there we hope you agree with one of the attendees who wrote us in an e-mail after SCENTworld: "Congratulations on a great conference. Everyone I spoke with had good things to say, and were very grateful for your leadership and initiative in putting the conference together."
That sums it up nicely! We had close to 250 attendees from 15 countries as far as Australia, Thailand, from all over Europe and South America. Over 40 speakers shared their expertise throughout two days of seminars and lectures. Our team worked hard, so did out hosts at the Marriott Marquis, resulting in an excellent job. The Sunday night opening reception with bustling Times Square as a backdrop was sensational by itself.
If you could not make it there's another chance next year -- we happily accept the challenge to produce an even bigger and better event with a date and location yet to be decided. Current requests point to Las Vegas, Paris, Australia or Bangkok. Any other ideas?
We are also working on a DVD compiling the highlights of the conference, designed for those of you who want to revisit the event or missed some (or all) of the presentations.
Let us mention some Scent Marketing milestones we have achieved during the conference, that will be of significance for the future of the whole industry:
- The creation of the Scent Marketing Leadership Circle, representing the brightest and most successful minds of our industry. Jointly we will tackle the future and address issues that will impact everybody's success.
- A better communication amongst the major industry players putting competitive tendencies aside and working towards improved relationships with each other.
- The annual SMItty Awards for extraordinary achievements in Scent Marketing.
There is a lot to be done and we will keep you posted throughout the year. However, we are very conscious of your time constraints and provide an "unsubscribe" feature at the bottom of this message. Feel free to use it. But there's also a feature "Forward email" that we'd rather like you to use...
