BCD Travel Inks Deal For New Flightstats Product Offering

UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS | BCD Travel and FlightStats, a leading provider of worldwide flight performance information offered by Conducive Technology Corp., today announced the companies are furthering their long-standing partnership through the expanded use of the FlightStats platform. The offering is aimed at enhancing BCD Travel's ability to offer clients and their travelers superior real-time flight, airline and airport intelligence.

BCD Travel was the first global travel management company to pioneer integration of the FlightStats platform's flight information into a core agency technology, TripSource®: Portal. Since 2006 the FlightStats platform has empowered the portal's flight-alerting and status tools.

The expanded service offering will enable BCD Travel to provide up-to-the-minute flight logistics, alerts and status independent of TripSource®: Portal. This enhancement delivers timely communications containing actionable trip intelligence to travelers" mobile devices based on their own preferences.

According to Matt Jones, director of portal technology for BCD Travel, "We can now offer intelligence on the logistics between flights. BCD Travel is currently engaged in testing with its own employee travel department.
