Jonathan Tisch Launches Media Ventures Company | nytimes.com

Jonathan M. Tisch, co-chairman of the Loews Corporation and chief executive of its hotel subsidiary, is getting into the media business. Mr. Tisch is joining Jeffrey Stewart, another Loews executive, to form Walnut Hill Media, according to a statement to be released Monday. The company plans to invest in the production and distribution of films, television shows and online media, beginning with what it called a multimillion-dollar investment in Tribeca Enterprises, parent of the Tribeca Film Festival.
