ATLANTA | Onity has announced the appointment of Christopher Freeman to the position of commercial product manager. Based at Onity’s world headquarters in Duluth, Ga., Christopher will be responsible for managing the lifecycles of all commercial locks and software for Onity. This includes the CodePro and Integra product lines, CT locks and any new platforms that fall under the Onity commercial products category, which includes corporate, military and education sectors. Christopher will also be the liaison between all functional departments, including engineering, sales, tech support and sourcing for the development, launch and implementation of new platforms and technology. Onity, one of the world’s leading providers of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
Christopher brings over 10 years of sales and marketing experience in leadership roles with an extensive background in consumer goods and commercial products to his new position at Onity. Christopher was the brand and product manager for PrideSports, a position that required him to oversee international marketing efforts and global branding for all golf related products. Previously, he also served as product manager for Hitachi Koki, USA LTD. where he managed the pneumatic and powered equipment division for North America. At Hitachi, Christopher was the team lead in development and launch of numerous construction products representing over $134 million in annual sales.
Christopher holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and a B.S.I.T. from DeVry University.
