Vienna International Hotelmanagement AG enters the music business with a further home production that goes beyond its core business of providing accommodation. Coming on the heels of a Vienna International cookbook and wine book, the hotel group in December 2008 released its first lounge jazz and blues album. The music is also available for download on the Vienna International homepage.

Jazz and blues define the sound on the CD, titled “Be My Home”. The album’s style makes for hours of listening pleasure – as background music or as something to be listened to more closely – thanks to the wonderful recordings by Jazzfrequenz (www.jazzfrequenz.at), a young and talented group of musicians. They are accompanied by established professionals such as Christian Wegscheider and head of production Stephan Gleixner. “The creative and dedicated team spent a great many hours in the studio. The culmination of their creative efforts are 13 ‘Jazz frequencies’ that reflect our commitment to quality,” says Rudolf Tucek, CEO of Vienna International Hotelmanagement AG.

Songs like “Be My Home”, “Unchain My Heart” or “Turn It All Around” make the album “Be My Home” a special musical experience. In addition to the full album, the individual songs can be listened to or downloaded at www.vi-hotels.com.
