Open Hospitality Introduces Brand MonitorSM
Hotels Protect Their Name on the Web - Drive Direct Bookings Open Hospitality, a global provider of online hotel Internet marketing solutions, has announced the introduction of a new service known as Brand MonitorSM. The solution enables clients to protect their hotel's brand name, image and existing goodwill on the Internet.
Believed to be the first such service designed exclusively for the hospitality industry, Brand MonitorSM limits or eliminates third-party interlopers utilizing a hotel's brand name, without consent or authorization, in Internet Pay-Per-Click advertising. These actions divert travelers from the hotel's primary consumer website. Brand Monitor will help Open Hospitality clients generate more direct bookings through the hotel's website.
Open Hospitality developed the service in response to a widening practice in the online marketplace. Carlos Rentero, Corporate Revenue Manager for Vincci Hoteles, said "After spending years observing travelers click on unaffiliated websites which were using our name in advertising without our consent and paying higher commission fees as a result, we saw value in the Brand MonitorSM service beginning recently with our Vincci Avalon Hotel in New York City.
