Airport Hotels That Invite Lingering | NYTimes.com

THE Italian architect Matheo Thun is known for his modernist, retreatlike hotels set in pristine Alpine destinations, buildings where cutting-edge design complements state-of-the-art amenities. Mr. Thun’s newest project, in Zurich, is no exception. Anchored around a six-story lobby and including features that range from Europe’s tallest wine tower — a 45-foot, 4,000-bottle confection complete with acrobatic waiters — to Arne Jacobsen Egg chairs, Mr. Thun’s 330-room Radisson SAS is as chic as Zurich’s famed, fashion-filled Bahnhofstrasse.
