InterContinental Mzaar Gears Up For Refurbishments

The resort’s optimistic vision for 2009 aiming to exceed guests’ expectations has motivated the initiation of InterContinental Mzaar refurbishment starting May 1st throughout June 1st; a period during which the hotel will be closed to public.
Mainly, the hotel remodeling will include a partial renovation of the lobby with new couches and furniture, a complete overhaul of the main building Level 3, 4 and 5 with guest rooms’ refurbishment and replacement of sound proof carpet flooring, walls & ceilings; the development & update of the Fire Life Safety (FLS) measures and the addition of an upscale indoor ballroom accommodating up to 350 persons with five adjacent meeting rooms on level -1.
