Marriott International, Inc. announced today the opening of its first Residence Inn by Marriott hotel in Central America. The Residence Inn by Marriott San Jose Escazu (www.marriott.com/sjori) in Costa Rica is operated under a management agreement with Caribe Hospitality.
“We are providing a new and innovative all-suites choice for travelers in San Jose,” said Adolfo Carit, general manager, “Our suites provide more space compared to conventional hotel rooms and include separate areas for relaxing, working, dining and sleeping. We are a great value for travelers.” The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from downtown San Jose, and 20 minutes from the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
The hotel offers 109 spacious suites, ranging from studio to two-bedroom accommodations. Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite includes a fully-equipped kitchen and separate living area, complimentary high speed internet access, complementary grocery service, flat screen TV, and Marriott’s highly acclaimed bed and bath linens. A welcoming staff will help guests to continue their life's pace and routines while away from home. Residence Inn provides a moderately-priced, tiered rate structure that enables guests to experience discounted rates for longer stays.
