Connecticut Lodging Association Partners With AH&LA

State Hoteliers Now Receive both Local and National Benefits

Connecticut Lodging Association Partners With AH&LA

Washington, D.C., Effective today, the Connecticut Lodging Association (CLA) has joined the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) as its 44th partner state lodging association. All members of the CLA, which is headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, will now receive AH&LA’s national membership resources, in addition to the state’s existing benefits.

CLA’s local advocacy, marketing, and training resources, will be amplified and complemented by AH&LA’s national lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill, as well as a variety of other benefits offered by the sole national association representing the U.S. lodging industry. Based on AH&LA’s dual membership structure, members of CLA can immediately access these new resources.

“We are excited to align ourselves more closely with Connecticut hoteliers to better represent the total hospitality industry,” said AH&LA President/CEO Joe McInerney, CHA. “We are encouraged by CLA’s new leadership in Ginny Kozlowski, who has been a driving force in making this partnership possible.”
