protel customer was announced best business hotel in Europe

The design hotel Mama Shelter in Paris was voted best business hotel in this year´s CNBC´s ranking of Europe´s Top 25 Business Hotels. Every year the news channel CNBC ranks Europe's best hotels for business travellers. Mama Shelter in Paris, this year´s top ranking hotel, uses hotel management software from Dortmund´s protel hotelsoftware GmbH since they first opened their doors. However, not only the winner, but also the Hotels The Lowry in Manchester and The George in Hamburg ranked 12th and 17th are using protel.

Mama Shelter opened in October 2008 and is located within the heart of Saint Blaise and just a few steps away from the famous Cemetery Père Lachaise. The design hotel with its eclectic and electric ambiance designed by Philippe Starck was now voted Europe´s Best Business Hotel 2009. The renowned news channel CNBC ranked Mama Shelter to be Europe´s top hotel on their list of 25 others for business travellers . Mama Shelter was named after the Rolling Stone's song "Gimme Shelter" and clearly acts on the maxim of offering luxurious style on a budget. And very successfully too: Only six months after their opening Mama Shelter carries the vote for Best Design Hotel 2009.
