This morning economic research firm e-forecasting.com in conjunction with Smith Travel Research announced that their U.S. Hotel Industry Leading indicator—HIL—went up in October, the seventh consecutive month of increase for the indicator. HIL went up 0.7 percent in October, after edging up 0.3 percent in September.
