Kinseth Hospitality Companies Announces General Manager & Sales Director of the Year Awards at Leadership Conference
Kinseth Hospitality Companies (KHC), an Iowa based hotel development and management company, held their annual Leadership Conference with all hotel and restaurant management to the Hilton Garden Inn -- Council Bluffs at Horseshoe Casino in mid-January of 2010. A series of awards were announced including the General Managers of the Year and Director of Sales of the Year.
Kinseth Hospitality recognized three outstanding General Managers of the Year, Carl Deeken of the Best Western -- Fairfield Inn of Fairfield, Iowa, and Connie Schlichting of the Holiday Inn - Bettendorf, Iowa for hotel General Managers of the Year. Rob Hayward from Bennigan's - Columbia, Missouri received the restaurant General Manager of the Year. Mr. Deeken, Ms. Schlichting, and Mr. Hayward have maintained high standards of operation and provided the ownership of their properties with outstanding profit margins throughout very difficult economic times.
The Director of Sales of the Year Award was presented to Jackie Oliver of the Holiday Inn -- Dubuque, Iowa, for exceeding sales goals and revenue generation for her property, in spite of many new hotel supply additions to the Dubuque marketplace.
