VingCard Elsafe Supports Haiti Relief Efforts
As Employees And Business Partners Join Together To Support Haiti, VingCard Elsafe Provides Matching Donation Of Over $3,600
In January 2010, the massive 7.0-magintude that struck Haiti was one of the worst natural disasters that this generation has seen, causing an outpouring of support from around the world. VingCard Elsafe, an ASSA ABLOY company, the industry world leader in guestroom security for electronic locks and safes was so moved by the worldwide effort that the company decided to make a matching donation, according to Tim Shea, president and Chief Executive Officer of ASSA ABLOY Hospitality.
“We are all saddened by the terrible destruction caused by the earthquake in Haiti,” said Shea. “With the destruction and loss of so many lives, we feel great sympathy for the suffering of survivors. Our hope is that by responding in this small way, we can provide even a small amount of relief to the suffering of so many.”
VingCard Elsafe committed to contributing a matching donation, up to $1,000 per individual donation for all donations. In March, the company made this overall matching donation of over $3,600 to a leading Haiti earthquake relief charity.
