Hyatt Seeks Buyers for 10 U.S. Hotels, 4,154 Rooms | chicagobusiness.com

Hyatt Hotels Corp. plans to sell a 4,154-room hotel portfolio, including three properties in the Chicago suburbs, as part of a strategy to expand its hotel management business while reducing its investment in real estate. The Chicago-based company has hired brokers to sell 10 hotels across the country, from a 445-room Grand Hyatt in Tampa, Fla., to a 501-room Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, Calif., according to people familiar with Hyatt’s plans. The company is also seeking buyers for the 316-room Hyatt Lisle, 301-room Hyatt Deerfield and 206-room Hyatt Rosemont.
