VIDEO: Brand Awareness in Visual Times
Video Interview with Trust International’s Managing Director, Richard Wiegmann, on How to Attract and Win Customers in the Hypercompetitive Shopping Environment.
Toronto, ON -- VFM Leonardo today launched a new video interview on VTV Channel called Brand Awareness in Visual Times. In this video, John McAuliffe, VFM Leonardo’s Chief Marketing Officer and Richard Wiegmann, Trust International’s Managing Director, discuss the deterioration of brand loyalty in the travel space and what hoteliers can do to attract and win customers.

Wiegmann reveals that customers visit 11 websites before going to the brand site or an OTA to book and on average, a hotel gets 800 looks for every one booking. The fact that travel consumers are doing so much shopping around online makes it increasingly difficult for hoteliers to actually convert them into buyers.
“To attract and win customers in the hypercompetitive shopping environment that we have today, hoteliers must become increasingly sophisticated in how they tell
their story,” states Wiegmann.
