When talking about cyber security, Anthony C. Roman likes to draw analogies to the walls of a fortress. Each element (e.g. passwords, firewalls) is like a single brick in the wall that, when stacked together, provide the best defense against computer network hacks and data theft. Most hotel IT professionals have familiarized themselves with most of those bricks, but there are two that, while gaining in usage, have yet to be adopted across the board: encryption and tokenization.
