Electrobug Offers Satisfaction Guarantee, Toll Free Support on Rate Tracking Products

LONDON--In an unprecedented move in its industry, Electrobug is offering a satisfaction guarantee and toll free numbers to hotels who sign up for its Rate Check product, enabling hotels to track GDS and Internet channels with confidence.

"I think hotels are sick of dealing with companies more concerned with closing sales than customer delight." says Mark Heynen, Managing Director. "Sites change, rates change, rate structures change, and providing realtime search capability to thousands of hotels is hard on target sites. The area is terribly complex, no question. But so is providing electricity. This just means companies need to make sufficient investments to provide a high quality service and take a long term view. We feel we have done this, and are providing a guarantee to back this up."

Electrobug has invested in manpower and technology to continually track sites for changes, and react accordingly. They have a significant quality assurance (QA) team checking for issues on client interfaces, with the aim of ensuring that they catch them before clients. They also provide personalised responses to any support emails that come in, generally within 24 hours. Finally, they are continually upgrading interfaces at no extra charge to clients.

"The guarantee is simple. If you are not happy within the first 30 days of launching your service, we will give you your money back, no questions asked." says Mark. "We feel putting our neck on the line will give hotels the willingness to move forward with something they obviously need."

In other efforts to bolster support, Electrobug is launching 1800 and 0800 numbers for toll free support for hoteliers as part of the annual subscription. This will supplement existing email based and live chat based support channels. Finally, Electrobug will run phone-based training sessions for all hotels who sign up, as well as a ticketing system to ensure no client queries fall through the cracks.
