High calibre speakers confirmed for WTM Vision Conference

World Travel Market, the premier global event for the travel industry, has organised a high profile speaker line up for its first half-day WTM Vision conference.

Well-respected Mail On Sunday Travel Editor Frank Barrett will moderate the first session on global travel and tourism trends, which will unveil exclusive Euromonitor International research on the impact of the recession on the travel and tourism industry.

World Travel and Tourism Council President and Chief Executive Officer Jean-Claude Baumgarten will respond to the report’s findings alongside Euromonitor International Global Travel & Tourism Manager Caroline Bremner.

The Euromonitor International Forecast Restatement research (worth £1,000) will be given free to all WTM Vision delegates.

TUI Travel Head of Sustainable Development Jane Ashton will lead the debate on sustainable tourism.

The UK Outbound panel session includes some of the industry’s most well-known individuals including Co-operative Travel Managing Director Mike Greenacre, Carnival Group Chief Commercial Officer Peter Shanks and Hotels.com EMEA Managing Director Nigel Pocklington.
