St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai and Special Olympics International’s Visit to the Pudong Special Needs School

At the event, students of Pudong Special Needs School and Charles Abbott, General Manager of St. Regis Hotel, Shanghai presented special gifts to Michael and Katie. Five Judo athletes representing China for the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games demonstrated Judo to the audience. The visit ended with a friendly basketball game between Michael, Katie and students from the school.

Mr. Charles Abbott said, “We are very pleased to be a sponsor and organizer for this meaningful event. And more importantly, we are proud to have Michael and Katie to visit the children in Pudong Special Needs School and interact with them. To further extend our support to 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games, we will continue to work with Pudong Special Needs School. Another event, ‘Unified Sports Day’, is already scheduled for April 24.”
